A Leader In Eco-tourism

The Daintree Discovery Centre has established itself as a leader in the field of ecotourism. The Centre specialises in the provision of environmental interpretive facilities and caters for both domestic and international visitors. With its spectacular Canopy Tower and Micrometeorological Weather Station the Centre is making an important contribution to Climate Change research. This multi-award winning Interpretive Centre is quite unique and continues to gain recognition as a premier ecotourism facility.

The overall aim of the Daintree Discovery Centre is, to enable visitors to have easy access to the rainforest and to provide up-to-date and accurate information about this very special, coastal strip of low-land tropical rainforest.

In this regard the Daintree Discovery Centre has become a regional benchmark for environmental interpretation in Far North Queensland.

The Daintree Rainforest Discovery Centre is a member of Ecotourism Australia with Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation, a Climate Action Business, Respecting Our Culture Business and is an Ecotourism Green Travel Leader. The Centre also has TQUAL accredition.
